Yes we can't...

Watched Forshythe's company 'YES WE CAN'T' last night....
It was so relaxing...like Woody Allen at contemporary dance.

I found similarities with the Square events ...the randomness of modern frenzy society.
The main idea is Samuel Beckett's saying; Try again.Fail again.Fail better.Wich as a principle, aknowledges the fact that maybe the only thing we are able to do is better mistakes....yes maybe we can't...this idea of loosing of failing..is not acceptable by society today...maybe thats why so many people left almost angry from theatre last night..
About the dancers ...Im so happy I was able to watch artists of such high level perform..each one was unique and could keep an audience by himself...imagine all those dancers interact...improvise and having fun for one and a half hour...simply delicious...
And this guy William Forshythe, so alive and so simply honest, about searching for the choreographic objects, that is the alternative ways of understanding the possibilities to organise the actions that aim to get the audience attention..as he says.
The old factory was so beautiful...unfortunately no picts allowed...so I have only
the factory, the atmosphere and some photos of the paper to show you...I hope you get the feeling....or go tonight if you can...or search in utube for Forshythe's work...humor is a big virtue...

thanks Basil....

lol.....
